FloorScore® tests and certifies all hard surface flooring and flooring adhesive products, ensuring they meet stringent indoor air quality emissions requirements. FloorScore certified floors and adhesive products also qualify for most green building programs.
We carry a number of name brand FloorScore certified products.
The GreenGuard Environmental Institute (GEI) certifies products and materials for low chemical emissions and provides a free resource for choosing healthier products and materials for indoor environments.

Forest Stewardship Council of Canada
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international certification and labelling system dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. You’ll find a number of FSC certified floors at The Eco Floor Store, including MODEL Hardwood, Qualifor (Francesca and Harvest Green) and Du Chateau.

BuiltGreen™ Canada is a third party certification program for homes that are environmentally responsible. The purpose of BuiltGreen is to encourage homebuilders to prioritize energy efficiency, provide healthier indoor air, preserve natural resources and improve your home’s durability. Most of our products qualify for BuiltGreen credits.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System® encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.
LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health including materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
