More Than Eco Surfaces
Light Fixtures, Pallet Art, Pallet Shelves and More!

You may have noticed that Jared is pretty crafty. He hand makes all of The Eco Floor Store’s furniture, shelves and displays that are in our showroom and trade shows.

The Eco Decor Store will feature some of his hand made goodies. All of them being one-offs with no two pieces alike, Jared will be making light fixtures, pallet wood art, shelves and candle holders with reclaimed wood and other products. Perfect gift ideas for the person in your life that loves unique decor items with a purpose.

Eco Surfaces for Luxury Yachts

The energy that interior designers have when creating a colour scheme board for a new project is absolutely contagious. And when our environmentally friendly surfaces are part of that board we get equally excited!

That’s how we felt when Dixie at D. Hudson Design gave us a call. She was looking for an elegant surface for her new project: a custom 65′ yacht built by Coastal Craft Yachts. We recommended ForzaStoneĀ® panels.

65 Concord by Coastal Craft

The new 65′ Concord is a luxurious yacht with all the fixings! It has an outdoor dining space, several guest cabins, full-height engine room, and a full-beam master bedroom with ensuite.

The spa-like spacious ensuite includes over 800 square feet of ForzaStone marble panels in the floors, walls, ceiling, countertop and back splash.

ForzaStone is lightweight, durable and versatile. For projects like yachts or air crafts, it’s a great alternative to traditional stone surfaces because of its weight. And for designers who love the opulent, ForzaStone allows you to easily install it on every surface – and all for less money.

Battle of the Surfaces

Posted on May 7, 2014 by Jared

This month is battle… CORK!

Every month, we put two surfaces head to head in a friendly Battle of the Surfaces! Last month, two restaurants battled it out for our virtual green leaf trophy.

Cork for wall surfaces is becoming a popular choice for eco-friendly interior designers. There are many different styles to choose from, including the two in this month’s battle. Outer burl cork wall panels (on the left) are rough and natural, whereas large brick cork wall tiles (on the right) have more visual texture.

Let us know which cork surface you like best on our Facebook page.
