We’re still dizzy with excitement from this weekend’s much anticipated Interior Design Show West at the Vancouver Convention Centre. It was an inspiring four day event that showcased the city’s rising interior design stars, hottest new products and cutting edge design ideas.
Here are a few of our favourites from this year’s buzzing #IDSwest13:
Olli panels by Ollitecture are peel and stick bamboo architectural wall panels made from upcycled off-cuts of Rayne Longboard skateboards. Recently featured in BCBusiness.ca, olli panels are available in seven daring prints. We love these unique tiles!
The Eco Floor Store is proud to be the exclusive BC distributor of olli panels by Ollitecture. Check out the cool prints and tile sizes here.
By Nature Design
Take a look at this cool booth!
By Nature Design is a Vancouver-based company that creates pieces of art with plants. We’re all familiar with living walls, but have you seen living tables, living chairs or living art? Well, now you have!
By Nature Design was interviewed for this great video by The Vancouver Sun. Check it out!
April Lacheur from Yapes Paints made her first appearance at IDSwest this year. Her nature inspired custom artwork is vibrant and a must-have for any home. And we absolutely love her new Christmas cards!
You couldn’t just walk by the Riga Bench by Feature Worx without stopping and taking a photo. We loved this bench – a combo of art and function, wood and metal, dynamic and still. That’s it, this bench moves!
Straight Line Designs
Oh-my-gosh! How cute is Vern and his mini-me? We’re totally in love with the furniture made by Straight Line Designs in Vancouver. It makes us smile and there’s nothing better than a genuine smile!
We’re a little sad that the show is already over, but we’re already looking forward to next year! Thanks again to the entire team at IDSwest for hosting such a great show. Until next year!
