Go Beyond the Surface: August 2013

Posted on August 31, 2013 by Jared

There are lots of things that make us say “yes, please!”. Things like wine and cheese, strawberries and chocolate, mojitos and beaches, bug spray and camping (uh…). Looking around our showroom and at some of our recent projects, we found a few other things that will make you say “yes, please!”.

Wall Paper + Cork Panels

This new wall surface is for the designer who isn’t afraid of funky patterns!

These digitally printed cork wall panels come in dozens of cool patterns, from retro chic to ultra modern. They’re like an awesome wall paper but with all the benefits of cork.

Custom Furniture + Finium FriendlyWall

We recently spied this stunning combo on Out of Line Design’s Facebook page.

Built by Crestwood Homes and designed by Good Space, this stunning custom home includes this show-stopping feature wall. The wall features our very own walnut wood Finium FriendlyWall, floating nightstands by Out of Line and some very modern light fixtures.

Yes, please!

Display Suite + Stikwood

Here’s a sneak peek of a recent Stikwood  installation in a soon-to-be-revealed condo development in Vancouver. It’s all a little hush-hush right now, so we can’t even say what space this beautiful feature wall will live in, but we just had to share it anyways!

Cork Wall Design in Montreal

Posted on August 28, 2013 by Jared

Too often, we see our wonderful environmentally friendly surfaces leave our showroom never to see them again. But sometimes, we receive photos from our clients showcasing our products in their beautiful new spaces. We LOVE it when that happens!

Here are a few photos of an amazing new restaurant in Montreal, Quebec named Chez Bouffe. The new bistro serves up lots of local and organic meals that look – we’ll admit it – even more delicious than their creative wall feature.

The original wall treatment is handmade using old corks. It’s the perfect surface to complement their drink menu, which apparently includes absinthe!
